FAQ

The questions every demo call asks

Implementation, modules, your data, integration and how it works commercially. If your question is not here, a person answers it faster than a page can.

Getting started

How long does it take to get running?
That depends on how much you switch on. A single module with your devices loaded is a short project; the whole platform across production, maintenance, warehouse and purchasing takes longer because it touches more people. Ask for a demo and we will walk through a realistic plan for your plant.
What do you need from us to start?
A list of what you maintain and, if you want the warehouse from day one, a list of your spare parts. Photos, manuals and documents can follow later; every device and part can carry them at any time.
Can we start with one module and add more later?
Yes, and most customers do. Modules are switched on per customer, so you can start where it hurts most, production data on the floor, fault reporting or the spare-parts store, and add the rest when the first part is running.
Does anything have to be installed?
No. Mesonify runs in the browser. On a phone or tablet it can be installed to the home screen like an app, which is how the shop floor usually uses it, with the camera for scanning QR codes.

The platform

Which modules are there?
Production, Terminal, Events, Devices, Schedules, Rules, Monitoring, Inventory, Order Requests, Orders, Suppliers, Layout, Dashboard, NCR and Automations. Each one has a page of its own with what it does and how it works. See all modules
What do we get whatever we switch on?
Export with automatic backups, contacts, a calendar, users and permissions, the REST API, the AI assistant, notifications and weekly reports, fault prediction, and the app on any device. Those are part of Mesonify itself, not modules you add.
Which languages does it speak?
The app and this site both run in several languages, and each person picks their own. Ask us which ones you need.
Does it work on the shop floor, not just in the office?
That is where it is meant to be. Phones and tablets get the same system as the desktop, QR codes on devices and parts open the right screen from the camera, and monitoring boards are built to be read across a hall.

Your data

Who owns the data?
You do. You can export it whenever you want, and automatic backups run without you asking.
Where does it run?
On your own secure cloud, separate from every other customer. We can put it in the region you need, in Europe or anywhere else in the world, so your data sits where your own rules say it has to.
Can we control who sees what?
Roles are defined per customer, every permission is a switch on a role, and individual people can be given extra rights on top. Groups and locations decide which devices, events and notifications someone sees at all.
Is there an audit trail?
Every event keeps a full history: creation, assignment, completion, checks, comments, cost entries and every stock movement it caused. Parts keep their own movement history, and supplier ratings keep theirs.

Integration

Is there an API?
Yes, a documented REST API secured with keys, and it covers the platform rather than a fixed handful of calls. Sending readings for a device, creating events and picking or restocking parts by count or by serial number are examples, not the limit. Each key carries its own permissions, and the documentation is there so your own developers can build on it themselves. See what flows through the API
Can Mesonify call our systems?
An automation can call an HTTPS endpoint of yours as one of its actions, so a change in Mesonify becomes a request to your own system. You can also export data as a file whenever you need it.
Can you connect our ERP?
Through the API, in the shape that suits the two systems. There is no per-vendor connector to buy and nothing to install on your side. Tell us which system and what should flow between them, and we will tell you what it takes.

Commercial

How does it work commercially?
You pay for the modules you switch on, so a plant that starts with fault reporting pays for less than one running the whole platform. There are no hidden fees. Ask sales for a quote and you get one for your plant, not a list you have to translate.
How long are we tied in?
You can cancel anytime. If you leave, you take your data with you: export is yours to run whenever you want.
Can we see it with our own data first?
Yes, that is what a demo is for. Tell us what you run and what you want to see, and we come back with a time to walk through it on your own production data.

Ask us whatever this page leaves out. It reaches the team that builds and sells the platform.
