Lower your energy costs.
Idle machines, air leaking all night, a hall heated over the weekend: the bill carries it all and shows none of it. Meter energy per machine, line or building, see the waste as a curve rather than a figure, and let a limit open the job the moment a reading drifts. Less waste, no surprises at month end, and every saving on record.
The problem
One bill for the whole plant arrives a month late, so nobody can say which machine ran it up, and the compressor that leaks all night looks like the one that works.
How Mesonify carries it
Meter where it matters
Sub-meters on the main feed, the lines, the compressors and the heating, fitted by a partner's electricians and read by a gateway that posts every reading to the REST API. Each meter is a device in your register, with its wiring diagram, its data sheet and its revision protocol filed on it.
Read it where the machine is
Energy in kWh and air flow in m³/h sit beside the machine on the plant layout, live, and every value keeps its history on the device. A night shift, a weekend or a machine left running shows as a curve, not as a line on next month's bill.
Set the limit, get the job
A rule compares each reading with the limit you set. Past it, a fault or an activity is created with its priority, its checklist and the machine already filled in, and it reaches the technician on the board and in the queue. The fix, its parts and its hours stay on the record.
Software and hardware
One delivery, from the meter to the screen
Mesonify is the software. Partner companies bring the metering hardware and everything an installation needs before it can be signed off, so you are not left to find an electrician, an integrator and a software vendor and make the three agree.
Hardware
Sub-meters, current transformers, flow and heat meters and the gateway that reads them, chosen for your switchboards and your lines.
Installation
Fitted by the partner's qualified electricians, on the main feed, in the distribution boards or at the machine, planned around your production.
Configuration
Each meter is mapped to its device in Mesonify, the gateway is set to post its readings to the API, and the limits and the rules behind them are set up with you.
Documentation and revision
Wiring diagrams, data sheets and the electrical-safety revision with its protocol, handed over and filed on the device, with the next revision already scheduled in Mesonify.
You can also start with the installer you already use or the meters you already have. Anything that can post a number to the REST API feeds the same records and the same rules.
What you can meter
Every utility the plant pays for
Energy monitoring is not only electricity. A reading is a reading whatever meter it comes from, and the same history, limits and jobs apply to each.
Electricity
Consumption and power per feed, line or machine. The history shows what a machine draws while it makes nothing, and a limit catches the peak.
Compressed air
Flow per line and pressure in the ring main. A flow that never falls to zero at night is a leak, and the curve shows it before anyone hears it.
Gas and heat
Gas at the boilers and the furnaces, heat at the exchangers, so the heating of each hall stops being one line for the whole site.
Water
Supply and process water per building or line, with a limit that opens a job the moment a reading crosses it.
Meters reach Mesonify over Modbus or their pulse output through a gateway, which posts the readings to the documented REST API. Mesonify itself needs nothing but the number and its unit.
- Production ordersOrders reach the line as paper or a shout, and the office finds out how far the shift got once the shift is over.
- Shop-floor visibilityNobody agrees on what happened during the shift, because everyone watched a different part of it.
- Fault reportingFaults reported by shout, note or message get lost, and nobody can say afterwards how long the line actually stood.
