This is a marketing site. It counts which of its pages are read and, with your permission, records how they are used. The only other personal data it handles is what you type into the contact form.

Who is responsible

Mesonify s.r.o. decides why and how the data described here is used. The registered seat, the company ID and the VAT number are in the imprint.

Write to info@mesonify.com with any question about this notice or about your data.

What the site collects on its own

No tracking pixels, no social buttons, no videos from other sites. Fonts are served from this site. The one thing that reaches a third party is the counting described in the next section, and nothing else leaves the page.

Cookies and how we count visits

With your permission we use PostHog, run for us in Frankfurt by PostHog Inc. under a data processing agreement. A cookie named ph_..._posthog then holds a random identifier for twelve months, so that a return visit counts as the same visitor, and we record the pages you open, where you came from, what you click, and a replay of how the page moved under your pointer. Every form field is hidden in the replay before it leaves your browser, so we never see what you typed, and none of it is linked to a name or an e-mail address. The legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time under "Cookie settings" in the footer, which deletes the identifier.

Until you choose, and if you decline, the counting stores nothing at all on your device. PostHog turns your IP address and browser identification into an anonymous number that changes every day and cannot be turned back, and counts the pages opened against it, together with the page you came from and the type of browser. We never see the address, and we cannot recognise you from one day to the next. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing which pages of our own site are read and whether the form works.

Two cookies are our own, and neither is used to recognise you. mesonify_consent remembers the choice above for twelve months, and is set only when you click one of the two buttons. mesonify_lang remembers which language you read the site in, so that a later visit opens in it: it is written when you pick a language, and on a first visit when your browser asks for one of ours and we open that version for you. Switching language again overwrites it.

One more thing goes to PostHog in both cases: if a script on a page fails, we send the error, the page it happened on and the type of browser, so that we can fix it. A page that is broken is broken whether or not you accepted anything, the report describes our own code rather than you, and nothing you have typed into a form is part of it.

The contact form

The form asks for your name, your company, your work e-mail and what you would like to see. A demo request also asks which areas of the platform interest you. We store those together with the language of the page, the browser identification your device sends with the request and the time it arrived.

The form posts to a function we run in the European Union, and the request is stored in a database in the same region. Only our team can read it, and we use it to answer you and to prepare a demo if that is what you asked for.

Sending the form is also counted as an event, with the page it was sent from and the language of that page. Nothing of what you wrote is part of it.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries, and the steps you ask us to take before any contract.

We keep a request while we are in contact and for up to 24 months after the last exchange, then delete it. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Google. Like any web host, Google records requests, including IP addresses, to deliver pages and to keep the site secure. We do not use those logs to analyse visitors.

The videos, and the still image shown before one plays, are also served by Google. The image loads with the page and the video only when you press play, and neither sets a cookie.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict that use. Write to info@mesonify.com and we will answer.

For visits we hold no identifier that leads to a person, so there is nothing for us to look up about a visitor. Your choice about cookies is changed under "Cookie settings" in the footer.

You can also complain to the data protection authority of the country where you live or where we are established.

Changes

If we add another tool or another purpose that handles personal data, this page is updated before it goes live.
